Artizen Cafe in Tamborine Mountain is a café that strikes a balance between a relaxed garden setting and thoughtfully crafted food and drinks. Set inside a timber-style building surrounded by greenery and a koi pond, it offers a calm spot away from some of the busier, more touristy corners of the area. The atmosphere leans toward casual yet intentional, making it a comfortable place to pause mid-explore or settle in for a leisurely breakfast or lunch.

This café finds its strength in its all-day breakfast options — like the poached eggs served on whipped feta and beetroot relish with toasted rye sourdough — and a lunch menu that appeals to both meat eaters and vegetarians with sandwiches stacked generously and fresh salads with elements like halloumi and nuts. It’s one of those places where the menu feels considered without being fussy, showing attention to good, fresh ingredients that locals can appreciate.

Artizen’s coffee draws a crowd who are serious about their brew, evident in the frequent mentions of its consistent quality and how it complements the food. The vibe is easygoing, with friendly staff creating an inviting atmosphere that makes it suitable for a casual catch-up, a quiet pause during a day out, or even a relaxed work session if you’re wanting to soak in some local character.

The outdoor and garden seating plays a big part in the experience, especially on mild days when sitting by the pond watching the goldfish adds an extra layer of calm. Early to mid-afternoon visits seem particularly pleasant, offering a peaceful break from the mountain’s busier trails and shops. Locals and visitors alike appear to treat Artizen as a rewarding stop for a solid coffee and a filling bite, especially during weekends when the area buzzes with tourists but the café retains a grounded, unhurried feel.

In sum, Artizen Cafe will appeal to those who appreciate a well-made coffee paired with thoughtful, honest food, all enjoyed in a setting that feels both connected to nature and quietly distinct from the surrounding bustle.

Mid-way through our Tamborine Mountain tour, we stopped for lunch at this quaint café and it was such a lovely surprise. The barn-like aesthetic was warm and charming — perfect for a relaxing meal. I ordered the KBBQ pork rice bowl and it was so satisfying, especially for a hungry person like me after a morning of exploring. I didn’t get to try their coffee this time, but I’m definitely coming back for it. Great spot, great food, and a cosy atmosphere!

I had a truly delightful experience at Artisan in Tamborine Mountain. The coffee was exceptionally well-prepared, the food was flavorful and satisfying, and the overall ambiance was both romantic and serene. I highly recommend this establishment to anyone seeking a refined and memorable dining experience.

Just the place for a bite in amongst established garden and watch the passing parade. Best vege burger ever with all fresh ingredients inc halloumi, lightly toasted bun and perfect coffee. Very clean, service with smile and a menu that’s different in a good way.

Unique timber building in garden setting very relaxed. A nice break from the touristy themed vibe in mt tamborine. Polite service, nice music, food wasn't over priced. Recommend the haloumi salad and drinks wise a juice or a Saba tea lemon balm iced tea. Sat next tea a nice pond with gold fish. Timely service. Would have been nice to have water at the table and maybe some local photography of the area on the walls. Otherwise top marks and well done to the chef.

Super friendly staff and such a chill vibe! The coffee is seriously amazing — I could drink it every day. The salad was so tasty, loaded with fresh fruit and lots of crunchy nuts. Loved it!

The scones I tried at this restaurant tasted amazing! Those were perfectly sweet and came in a big enough portion, more than enough for one person. The latte was fantastic too, and I really appreciated that they used lactose free milk as requested. It was very satisfying dessert and coffee experience. I would love to come back next time!

My friend and I had the big breakfast, and everything was cooked perfectly. The sausages, bacon, eggs, mushrooms, roasted tomatoes, and bread were all delicious and well prepared. I especially liked the relish sauce since it had a nice sweetness. The staff were very kind and even provided water on time. Excellent foods and service. We would definitely like to come back again.

I tried the Korean Bulgogi Rice at this cafe for the first time and absolutely loved it. It came with fresh beef bulgogi, salad, and rice, and everything was well balanced. The bulgogi marinade was fantastic, not too salty and not too sweet, just right. I’ve tried several other dishes here before, and the food quality has always been very consistent. I also like that this cafe offers both Australian style and Korean style menu options. Highly recommended!
